General Information

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is a golden visa initiative that enables foreigners to reside in Malaysia on a long-term basis, sponsored by the Malaysian government through its Immigration Department. The visa offers a maximum 20-year residence permit that can be renewed, making it ideal for long-term stays.
The program requires significant financial commitments: applicants aged 21-49 must place USD65,000 in a fixed deposit in a Malaysian bank, while those 50 and above need USD32,000. Additionally, within a year of visa endorsement, applicants must purchase residential property, which must be held for a minimum of 10 years.
The program offers a 20-year renewable visa with Multiple-Entry Visa privileges for both main applicants and dependents. It suits those genuinely wanting to establish a base in Asia for lifestyle, investment, or business purposes. The MM2H program provides flexibility for retirees, expatriates, and investors seeking long-term Malaysian residency.
